2017 Acroterra Assyriko Santorini, Greece
A showstopper Assyriko from one of the new leaders in modern winemaking in Greece. This incredible white is composed of 90% Assyrtiko, 7% Aidani and 3% Athiri grown in vineyards located adjacent to the villages of Pyrgos and Megalochori, Santorini. The vines are ungrafted, dry-farmed and over 80 years old (as old as 200 years). On the nose you find aromas of lemon-lime zest and pure volcanic earth. Chalky saline notes and crisp minerality in the mouth lead to a long finish.

“The 2015 EA Coteaux Champenois Blanc is a blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunieur and Chardonnay that was aged in large foudre for one year before the unfined and unfiltered bottling. The bouquet is subtle, round and elegant, with good ripeness, some yeasty-creamy bâtonnage notes as well as discreet toasty and refreshing lemon aromas. Lean, fresh and mineral on the palate, this is a light, rather lean but not meager, pretty intense and structured and remarkably persistent finish. Bone dry and with very fine tannins, this is an excellent white with fish and any kind of seafood. Tasted July 2018. Drink 2019 thru 2026.

2016 Brittan Vineyards Chardonnay - "Organic" Willamette Valley, Oregon
The 2015 Chardonnay dances with notes of pear blossom and honeysuckle, spun sugar and biscuits with clover honey. The entry on the palate is lush and full, with blood orange and vibrant kumquat, while the finish linger with hints of exotic Ceylon tea.
A little history - Robert Brittan left Stags’ Leap Winery in Napa after 16 years as Winemaker and Estate Manager to fulfill his dream of making Pinot Noir and Syrah from unique sites in cooler climates. Robert and his wife, Helen, moved up to Oregon in 2002 and started the winery soon after. To this day they are making Pinot and Chardonnay that rival some of the great Burgundies.

2017 Bollig-Lehnert Riesling Kabinett "Trittenheimer-Apotheke" Mosel, Germany
An off-dry style (so think, cocktail sweet, not dessert sweet). It's somewhat luscious, but has a great helping of acidity. Flavors of Apples, lemon zest, and some petrol. A fantastic, but not overwhelming pleasant nose. Mineral driven with that acidity on the palate.

Weingut Bollig-lehnert, is an Internationally recognized producer and supplier of fine Mosel Riesling Wines. Our portfolio represents finest quality wines produced within our Mosel Estate here on the Middle Mosel in Germany. Bollig-lehnert was founded by Gunter & Josepha Bollig in 1960 - although old family records show that their forefathers were also producing wines as far back as the early 17th century. After completing his studies in 1985 - son Stefan Bollig took over the running and management of the Estate which covers, to -date approximately 18 acres of finest, privately owned Mosel Riesling vineyards in the villages of Trittenheim, Piesport and Dhron on both steep and also Mosel-Level terrain.

L’Atelier, the artist’s studio – that was what our intern from Bordeaux called the little studio where we craft our wines. The small cave where we make our wines each vintage has seen its share of creativity. This notion of artistic invention, paired with a sense of style, is what fuels our passion for winemaking. That notion of creative endeavor and a reverence for the classic styles that have influenced our work is what inspires our bottling of L’Atelier, a blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Vert.
Organic grapes harvested from the cooler, riverside area of Yountville gives L’Atelier vivacious aromas of citrus blossom, flint and fresh russet apples. Thepalate is balanced for summer fare with notes of key lime and fresh cut apple,giving way to a delicious saline finish. A special wine that is too good to resist – perfect for the warm days of spring and summer.
